erm... she makes breakfast for both her AND Liam - not just herself

I got sucked in...

After so much peer pressure, I've decided to start a blog myself. I guess it's better for us who are too busy to call everyone we know every time there's an update. :P
Ok, so for my first blog I have sad info. I developed mastitis, which is SO PAINFUL. I had heard before that it's painful, but wow. Not only is it painful, but I have flu-like symptoms like fatigue, fever, and just feeling plain 'blah'. I went to the doctor today and got an antibiotic and he said I should start feeling better after about 24 hours. *crosses fingers*
Katarina is growing up so fast. She's been sitting up on her own for about a month now. She will still fall down and can't sit back up on her own, but she's amazing. She was insanely strong from the time she was born - she held her head up just like her daddy did when he was born. She weighed 8.8 lbs when she was born, 10 lbs at 2 weeks, 12 lbs at 3 weeks, 18 lbs at 3 months, and now is 21 1/2 lbs at 5 months. She's def a daddy's girl. Bill has a "walk past once pass". He can only walk past her once... any more than that and she gets really offended and cries for him until he picks her up. She also hates to sleep and fights it to the end. Bill has the magic touch and can usually "trick" her to sleep. When she was born she stayed awake for over 5 hours and she's been that way ever since. We've decided that she just doesn't want to miss out on anything and that's why she's always slept through the night so well - because we're sleeping too.
Liam is now in Preschool and LOVES it. All the preschools around here are only 2 days a week, so we're paying double so that he can go 4 days a week. He's so smart and retains all information like Bill - a walking hard drive. His teachers have said that they're going to have Liam start teaching the classes on the second day because he knows all the answers and doesn't fail to not only answer their questions, but tell everyone all about what he knows from the lesson the previous day. By the time he gets to Kindergarten he'll be REALLY prepared. Liam amazes me. He'd rather eat a salad than eat a pizza and would rather eat fruit than a granola bar (Bill was the same way when he was his age). Liam has really gotten into puzzles lately and does ones for much higher than his age group already. So smart. I love it!
Arianna is in a charter school this year and we love it so much. They teach her the way she learns! What a concept! She's in dance at school and she's really enjoying it. She finally gets to do ballet. Arianna is such an awesome big sister. Not only does she help out with the baby, but she's making breakfast for her and makes her own lunch for school. Sometimes she even does dinner when it's something simple like ramen or corn dogs. Arianna's doing so well in school. Her parent/teacher conference was last week and she's doing excellent (her report card even says so). I am so proud of all my kids. :)
Halloween is coming quickly! Arianna wants to be Alice and Liam wants to be Emmett, both from the Twilight series by Stephenie Meyer. We went and got Arianna's hair cut even more so she could have it more like Alice. It's going to be awesome. Liam wants to be Emmett because "he's the strongest!" I really don't know what we're going to have Trina be yet... Renesmee? lol
Bill is doing so well at work. He's loving the new management position and is just awesome at anything he does. He was given a nice bonus for all his hard work and extensive hours he's put in. I'm so proud of him. He's still commuting 2 hours a day all the way to SLC, but we're hoping we can put the house on the market next year and get a place closer to his work. Not only will it save us money in gas, but we would be able to spend so much more time with him!
Love to all!
